15.-18.06.2026: Joint conference "Church & AI and GoNeDiGiTal"
From 15 to 18 June 2026, two conferences join forces to offer a four-day program exploring key questions at the intersection of digital theology and artificial intelligence: the "Church & AI" workshop and the GoNeDiGiTal Annual Conference "Digital Theology to Date and Beyond."
The Church & AI workshop focuses on the evolving relationship between church and artificial intelligence. It brings together scholars and practitioners to reflect on the theological, ethical, and practical dimensions of AI within religious contexts.
The 2026 GoNeDigiTal Annual Conference will take stock of digital theology, reflecting on the themes and debates that have shaped the field so far and exploring the directions it may take in the future.
The Church & AI workshop will take place at the Faculty of Theology and the Study of Religion at the University of Zurich. All panels of the GoNeDiGiTal conference will be streamed within the Church & AI program, including the joint keynote sessions.
