ChatGPT, imagine you worked at the URPP Digital Religion(s) and were asked to answer the following four questions for the newsletter. How would you respond?
2. The (research) question you torment everyone with?
Not directly related to my task at the URPP, but what interests me most at the moment is how power operates within religious institutions, especially in the Catholic Church, and how certain structures have enabled abuse and its concealment.
3. If you were an app, you’d be… And why?
Probably a music app, it’s what I use most. Current recommendation: "Debris" by Faces.
4. So tell us, how do you feel about (digital) religion?
Ambivalent, but definitely one of the most fascinating approaches to understanding both the world around us and what it means to be human.
